Nancy Shugart's Biography

Nancy Shugart is an author, motivational speaker, successful businesswoman, and community volunteer.

Nancy founded Prove Them Wrong in 2002 after retiring from a 21-year teaching career in the Austin Independent School District in Austin, TX.

She is the author of two books, Challenged to Win and Prove Them Wrong: The Kids Who Refused to Quit. She is also the author of the DVD, Align Your Dreams with Your Power.

A native Texan, Nancy enjoys swimming, hiking, writing, speaking, taking cruises and traveling with her Guide Dog Porsche.
